DEMPSTER’S® WholeGrains™ 100% Whole Wheat bagels/ POM® New York New York® Whole Wheat Bagels with Sesame
Slices Part-skim cheddar cheese
Apple, unpeeled, cored and thinly sliced
½ tsp (2mL) 

TOAST bagels.

PLACE cheese on half of each bagel and top with apple and a pinch of cinnamon.

CLOSE sandwiches with remaining half bagels and serve.

FOR A CHANGE: Replace apples with pears and replace cheddar with part-skim provolone or Swiss cheese.

NUTRITION TIP : Adding ¼ cup (60 mL) of dry-roasted unsalted walnuts adds good omega-3 fat, iron, nearly 2 g of fibre and crunch!
