Slices DEMPSTER’S®/ BON MATIN® Healthy Way® Multigrain bread
Packages MAPLE LEAF Prime® Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, coarsely chopped
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Light cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp (15mL) 
Light mayonnaise
½ cup (60mL) 
Red or yellow sweet pepper, chopped
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Chives, chopped
½ (0.5) 
English cucumber, thinly sliced

PLACE chicken in a bowl; add cream cheese and mayonnaise.

STIR in sweet pepper and chives, combining well.

DIVIDE chicken mixture evenly among 4 slices of bread.

TOP with cucumber slices and close sandwiches with remaining slices of bread. Serve immediately or store in a cool place for lunch or dinner.

FOR A CHANGE: Replace cucumbers with other fresh vegetables, such as tomatoes, mushrooms or avocado.

NUTRITION TIP: Replace cream cheese with 2% yogurt to increase the amount of calcium and decrease fat.
