Chicken Pesto and Brie Baguette

DEMPSTER’S® OvenFresh™ White or Multigrain Baguette
1 tbsp (15mL) 
OLIVIERI® Basil Pesto
Slices MAPLE LEAF® Ready Crisp® Fully Cooked Bacon
Tomato, sliced
½ (400g) 
Package MAPLE LEAF Prime™ Fully Cooked and Sliced Chicken Breasts
4 oz (125g) 
Brie, sliced

PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).

SLICE baguette lengthwise; spread pesto on bottom half of baguette.

HEAT bacon slices according to package directions.

LAYER with tomatoes, chicken, bacon and brie; top with the other half of the baguette.

BAKE in oven on a baking sheet for 8 minutes or until cheese is melted and baguette is hot and crisp. Cut in half and serve.

BBQ TIP: BBQS with 2 Burners: PREHEAT barbeque grill to high by turning on both burners. TURN off one burner and lower heat of second burner to medium. PLACE baguette directly on the grill where the burner has been turned off. Cook with lid closed for 5 minutes. Turn baguette over and cook with lid closed for an additional 3 minutes. For barbecues with 3 burners follow directions above turning off one burner after preheating and placing bread directly on grill over the burner that has been turned off.
