Butter, softened
Slices DEMPSTER’S® Mild Light Rye
8 oz (250g) 
Thinly sliced corned beef or pastrami
½ cup (125mL) 
Well-drained sauerkraut
4 oz (125g) 
Thinly sliced Swiss cheese
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Thousand Islands Dressing

SPREAD butter one side of each slice of bread.

DIVIDE corned beef between 2 bread slices, keeping butter side facing out.

TOP each with sauerkraut, cheese and dressing and remaining bread (butter side facing out).

GRILL sandwiches in a skillet over medium heat until golden on both sides and cheese has melted. Serve immediately.

TIPS: This sandwich is also great without toasting. Just keep the butter side in! Substitute thousand islands dressing with your favourite mustard.
