Eggs, beaten

½ cup (125mL)

Vegetable oil
Slices Dempster’s® Smart™ White with Whole Grains / POM® Pain De Ménage Homestyle White / Ben's® White Bread
Maple syrup, warmed
Icing sugar
Fresh berries

COMBINE eggs, vanilla, milk and sugar in a bowl.

DIP bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Be careful not to leave it in the mixture for too long.

HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium. ADD bread to skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side. Flip bread over when cooked side turns golden brown.

SERVE with warm syrup and fresh berries, dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon.
