1 cup (250mL) 
Tomato sauce
1 cup (250mL) 
Thinly sliced fresh mozzarella cheese
1 cup (250mL) 
Cooked sliced mushrooms
½ cup (125mL) 
fresh chopped basil
2 tsp (10mL) 
olive oil

SPREAD sauce over pitas. TOP with cheese, mushrooms and basil.

FOLD in half. BRUSH with oil and grill on panini press or in a skillet over medium heat until golden and cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.

TIP: USE your imagination to create a variety of flavours – great way to use leftovers such as chopped cooked chicken, roasted vegetables and extra bits of cheese.
