TENDERFLAKE® Frozen Deep Dish Pie Shell
1 (69g) 
Package instant strawberry mousse dessert mix
Blue juice berry candies (or any other gummy)
Red gum drops
Red lips candy
1 cup (250mL) 
White mini marshmallows
Large marshmallow
 
Red licorice laces
¼ cup (50mL) 
Red decorating sugar
2 tbsp (30mL) 
White decorating sugar


Directions
PREHEAT oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Prepare pie shell as per package directions for a baked pie shell. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.

PREPARE dessert mix according to package directions. Fill pie crust with mousse, smoothing top with spatula.

CUT two crescent shapes from blue juice berries to create smiling eyes, and place about 1-inch (2.5 cm) apart halfway down the pie.

MAKE rosy cheeks and nose by pressing red gum drops into mousse, as shown. With scissors, trim the upper lip off the lip candy, using the lower lip for Santa’s mouth. Take care not to do too much repositioning, as mousse sets quickly.

FILL in the beard, mustache and sideburns with mini-marshmallows. Use a large marshmallow for the hat’s pompom.

DRAW in the hat outline with the tip of a knife to help guide you. Outline the cap with red licorice lace. Put the white and red decorating sugars in separate small snack-sized zippered sandwich bags and snip hole in one corner. Using the bag to help dispense the sugar, fill in the licorice-outlined hat with the red sugar and use white for the fur brim.

SERVE Santa on your favorite Christmas platter and enjoy with guests.
