Mini Ham & Cheese Melt Sandwiches

DEMPSTER’S® OvenFresh Rosemary & Olive Oil Baguette
4 tbsp (60mL) 
1 cup (250mL) 
Grated cheese such as Cheddar, Gruyère, or Fontina
4 oz (100g) 
Maple Leaf® Deli-Fresh™ Hickory Smoked Black Forest Ham
3 tbsp (45mL) 
Favourite mustard (optional)

PREHEAT oven to 400˚F (200˚C).

SLICE baguette crosswise into ½-inch (1 cm) slices. Spread a thin layer of butter on each slice.

TOP unbuttered half of the baguette slices with a layer of grated cheese, ham and another layer of grated cheese. Top with remaining baguette slices (butter side facing out) to form sandwiches. Place on cookie sheet.

BAKE sandwiches in preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes, turning once.

SERVE with a selection of mustards.
