Slices DEMPSTER’S® WholeGrains™ 12 Grain bread / BON MATIN® 14 Grain bread
4 tsp (20mL) 
Dijon or honey mustard
10 ½ oz (300g) 
MAPLE LEAF® Country Kitchen® Smoked Ham, thinly sliced
2 cups (500mL) 
Fresh spinach or lettuce
Slices Part-skim Swiss cheese

PREHEAT oven to 350°F (180°C)

SPREAD 1 tsp mustard on each piece of bread. Top each with ¼ spinach or lettuce, ham, and slice of cheese.

BAKE for 3 minutes or until cheese melts.

SERVE immediately.

Alternative: Substitute with any meat, cheese or vegetables from your fridge to make a toasted sandwich melt anytime.

NUTRITION TIP: For a low-fat, low-salt version, replace 1/4 of ham with 2 large hard-boiled eggs sliced (½ per portion).
