DEMPSTER’S® / POM® New York New York® White Bagel
2 tbsp (30mL) 
MAPLE LEAF® Ready Crisp® Fully Cooked Bacon Pieces
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Finely chopped red pepper
1 tbsp (15mL) 
Finely chopped green onion
Eggs, lightly beaten
Thin slices tomato (if the tomatoes are small, use 4 slices)
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Fresh cracked pepper

COMBINE bacon, red pepper and green onion in microwaveable bowl.

MICROWAVE on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir in egg and continue to microwave for 1 minute, or until cooked through (may need an extra 30 seconds).

SPLIT and toast bagel. Top each half with tomato and cooked egg mixture.

SPRINKLE with cheese and cracked pepper.

SERVE immediately.

TIPS: For larger serving sizes, the egg mixture can be made in a skillet. Substitute bacon with your favourite MAPLE LEAF® Sliced Deli Meat.
