Dempster’s®/POM® Pocketless Pitas
1 lb (500g) 
pork, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp (30mL) 
1 tbsp (15mL) 
balsamic vinegar
½ tsp (2mL) 
each salt and pepper
½ tsp (2mL) 
dried oregano
1 cup (250mL) 
chopped cucumber
2 cups (500mL) 
shredded romaine
1 cup (250mL) 
chopped tomatoes
½ cup (125mL) 
prepared tzatziki

Toss pork with oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano and allow to stand for 10 minutes or up to one day in the refrigerator.

Grill, broil or sauté pork until brown with a hint of pink in the centre, about 10 minutes. Warm pitas on the grill or in the oven.

Divide pork over warm pitas and top with cucumber, romaine and tomatoes. Spoon tzatziki on top and enjoy.

Tip: Add chopped fresh mint and sliced olives for a fresh twist.
