pkg Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Thin Sliced Chicken Breasts
Fresh sage leaves OR
¼ tsp (1mL) 
dried rubbed sage
Large slices prosciutto, halved lengthwise
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Butter, divided
¼ cup (50mL) 
White wine or chicken stock
 
Salt & pepper to taste


Directions
PLACE 1 sage leaf crosswise over centre of each chicken breast. Wrap prosciutto around sage.

MELT 1 tbsp (15 mL) butter in large fry pan over medium heat. Add chicken, sage side down and cook for 5 minutes. Turn gently and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 170°F (77°C). Remove from pan and keep warm on serving dish.

ADD white wine to pan, scraping up any bits increasing heat to medium high. Add remaining butter and heat until melted. Check seasoning, pour sauce around chicken and serve immediately.

TIPS: Replace prosciutto with your favourite ham. Replace sage with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
