DEMPSTER’S®/POM® SMART™ tortillas or POM® White tortillas
½ cup (125mL) 
Softened cream cheese
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Drained capers
4 oz (125g) 
Thinly sliced smoked salmon
Thin slices red onion, separated into rings
1 tbsp (15mL) 
Coarsely chopped fresh dill
1 tsp (5mL) 
Lemon juice
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

SPREAD cream cheese evenly over the tortillas. Add capers, salmon, onion and dill in a single layer, leaving a 1" (2.5 cm) border at the top covered just with cream cheese to allow the rolls to stick together.

SPRINKLE with lemon juice and pepper.

ROLL tortillas up tightly, pressing firmly to seal. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

TRIM off ends of rolls then cut each roll on the diagonal into 10 or 12 slices.

TIPS: Don't limit these to appetizers. They also make a great lunch cut in half instead of bite-sized slices. Try a variety of fillings such as cucumber, tomato, and shrimp. Replace fresh dill with 1 tsp (5 mL) dried dill weed.
