Package MAPLE LEAF Prime® Fully Cooked Turkey Breast Strips
DEMPSTER’S® OvenFresh™ Baguettes, white or whole wheat
Slices MAPLE LEAF Ready Crisp® Fully Cooked Real Bacon
tomatoes, sliced
2 tbsp (30mL) 
Mayonnaise
Leaves lettuce, shredded


Directions
PREHEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).

CUT each bun in 1/2 lengthwise and cut each half into 3. Put buns back together and place on baking sheet; bake for 8 minutes.

HEAT turkey strips and bacon slices in microwave, according to their package directions.

SPREAD a light layer of mayonnaise on cut portion of bottom and top layers and one side of middle layer of each half of baguette. Top each bottom layer with 1/4 of the turkey strips, 2 slices of bacon and middle layer of bun with the mayonnaise side facing up.

TOP each middle layer with tomato slices, lettuce and top layer of baguette.

BBQ TIP: BBQS with 2 Burners: PREHEAT barbeque grill to high by turning on both burners. TURN off one burner and lower heat of second burner to medium. PLACE baguette directly on the grill where the burner has been turned off. Cook with lid closed for 5 minutes. Turn baguette over and cook with lid closed for an additional 3 minutes. For barbecues with 3 burners follow directions above turning off one burner after preheating and placing bread directly on grill over the burner that has been turned off.
